Employee of the Month
We’re pleased to announce that April’s employee of the month is Sam Wilcox.
Emma Summersgill, owner of the Riverside Day Nursery, said:

Nursery Team Update
Welcome to the Team, Melissa.
Mel is our new preschool room leader. She is qualified to Level 5 in childcare and has worked in a school for 10 years prior to joining us. Mel loves working with children of all ages and has infinite amounts of knowledge about the EYFs framework and the school curriculum which she looks forward to sharing with her new team.
Welcome to Mel!
Lewis is our newest recruit to the team and is based in our preschool room. He has previously worked as a chef (always handy!) and within the childcare sector. The children are really enjoying having a male role model in nursery. Lewis would like to become a sports coach in the long term but whilst he is learning and developing his skills he is finding working with the preschool children really rewarding.

Bank Holiday Closing 2018 Please note that the nursery will be closed all day on Monday 7th May and Monday 28nd May. We hope you all have a brilliant break.
Odds Farm Trip – 11 May 2018 If attending, please ensure your child is at nursery for 8.30am as the coach will be departing promptly at 9am. Please send your child in with a packed lunch (no nuts or nut-based products) in a clearly named lunch box/bag. Comfortable clothing and footwear please to reflect the changeable weather!
