48-hour Illness Rule – There is a lot of flu and tummy bugs around at the moment. To prevent these from spreading, please can we remind you to keep your child off for 48-hours from the last episode of vomiting or diarrhea nappy.

Winter Clothing Now the weather is getting colder, please make sure your child comes in with clothes they can play outside in, including a winter coat, hat, scarf and wellies. Please make sure everything is clearly labelled with their name too.
Contact details – Do we have your current contact details? It’s important to keep us informed of changes to your address, landline or mobile number. Please let us know in person or via email info@theriversidedaynursery.co.uk as soon as possible.
Medication – If your child needs to be given prescribed medication at nursery, the medication must be in its original packaging (with the pharmacy label) and preferably with its original instruction leaflet. We can only administer prescribed medication for the child we have in attendance and that is in date.
Waterproofs – Now the weather is starting to turn more cold and damp, please make sure your child or children has appropriate clothes to play outside in, including wellies and waterproofs on rainy days. Please make sure everything is named clearly.

A quick reminder that the Riverside Day Nursery will be closed on the bank holiday, Monday 29th August 2016.
If the sun decides to shine this summer (we live in hope!) don’t forget to bring a sun hat in for your child. Also, please ensure it is marked clearly with their name.
Please ensure that you check your child’s drawer in nursery regularly. As well as lots of lovely artwork there can be party invitations and notices.
We spend a lot of time putting up new art displays and photographs of the children both in and out of the nursery rooms. Please pop in see to see what they’ve been up to whenever you want.
