Changing Rooms Update

Plans to develop our Baby and Toddler room are well underway.

Emma Summersgill, owner of the Riverside Day Nursery, said: [pb_blockquote] “We’ve opened up the space and divided the room into two sections using low-level storage, giving the younger babies and older toddlers their own space to play and learn.

“It’s worked out really well and everyone has settled into their new areas really well. The toddlers love having their own independent room to play in, whilst the area for the babies is calm and relaxing.” [/pb_blockquote]

Following the update to the layout, Jemma now leads the toddler area, whilst Shona leads the baby area.

“Each section will be equipped with lots of age-appropriate toys and activities that the children love, including sensory play, arts and crafts, a reading corner, cosy area and dressing up rail.

“The changes will be gradual over the next few weeks and carried out with minimal disruption to day to day life at the nursery. We’ll keep you up to date about the changes via email and the newsletter but if you have any questions please do pop in ask.” [/pb_blockquote]
