New Deputy Manager – Rosie
Our new deputy manager Rosie will take up her role on 7th November. Rosie joins us from a nursery in Maidenhead and is a highly experienced team leader. As well as deputy manager duties, Rosie will oversee the Baby and Toddler room.
In other staff news, Holly has left to work at a term-time only pre-school. We wish Holly the best of luck in her new position.
Mary works with the Riverside Day Nursery’s pre-schoolers.
Mary’s role focuses on literacy and phonics, in particular, playing fun games which help the children build the relationship between letters and sounds, the first stage of learning to read and write.
Emma Summersgill says:
[pb_blockquote]“Mary has bags of experience and is always enthusiastic about her work with the children. She’s also a fab team member. She’s super reliable and makes us laugh with her larger than life personality. Thanks for all your great work.”[/pb_blockquote]
Mary receives £50 for being an all-round star! Well done Mary!
Mum-to-be Abby is amazing at her job and is always happy to roll her sleeves up and get stuck in, whatever the task.
Abby receives £50 for going the extra mile.

Well done Abby!
The first winner is Amber Harling. Amber recently moved from the baby and toddler room to take up the role of art co-ordinator in our pre-school room.
[pb_blockquote]Amber has not only excelled at creating and doing art topics with the children but she’s built up fantastic relationships with them and really compliments the preschool team,” [/pb_blockquote] said nursery founder, Emma Summersgill.
The other two team members are Holly and Cheree who were on top form during the Ofsted inspection earlier this month.
Emma said: [pb_blockquote]“Holly and Cheree talked fluently about each child’s development and answered lots of questions on topics relating to our policies and procedures. Given that the line of questioning is random, they really impressed Ofsted with their level of knowledge.”[/pb_blockquote]
Holly, Cheree and Amber each receive £50 for their sterling work.
