All About Eid

In May, the children learnt about Eid al-Fitr, the Islamic festival celebrating the end of Ramadan.

The festival involves morning prayers, exchanging gifts, wearing new clothes, and preparing traditional sweet dishes.

We celebrated Eid through hands-on activities, like making paper lanterns and glitter crescent moon and stars.

We also talked about Eid to help the children understand the holiday’s meaning, and how it focuses on themes like sharing, kindness, and family celebrations.
