Anyone for Teddy Tennis?

We run a number of extra-curricular classes at The Riverside Day Nursery, including Teddy Tennis.

Designed for tots of pre-school age (two-and-a-half-years upward) Teddy Tennis lessons are held every Monday afternoon inside or outside the leisure centre, depending on the weather.

Run by ‘Head Ted’ and assistant coach Cheryl; the sessions are 100% interactive and a fun way to learn about the game. As well as picking up racket and ball skills, the lessons are ideal for helping children with hand eye co-ordination and how to communicate and interact with other people.

Emma Summersgill, Founder of the Riverside Day Nursery, Windsor, says:

“The children love the Teddy Tennis sessions. They’re on the go all the time but also learn about when to speak and listen, so for example, they need to stand on the ‘listening spot’ when being given instructions.”

To find out about Teddy Tennis or any other of our extra-curricular activities, pop in and speak to Nursery Manager, Emma Yarrow.
