The day the Panto came to visit. Did we have a good time? Oh yes we did!

Following the great response to last year’s pantomime, we invited Pyramid Productions back again this year, this time with their performance of Pinocchio.

The children really enjoyed the show and there was lots of fun interaction with Pinocchio, Mister Geppetto and his enormous cat.

Windsor Riverside Day Nursery

Our Sparkling Christmas Party – Ho! Ho! Ho!

Quite simply, we had a ball! After some lively party games and lots of winners, we settled down to eat Christmas lunch followed by a treat of yummy ice cream!

Whilst eating, the children thought they heard the tinkling of sleigh-bells but none of the grown-ups had heard them. The children were insistent however and a little later they thought they heard them again…then to our surprise Father Christmas arrived! (We honestly thought we had excelled ourselves with our visit from Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton du Beke but this was even better!)
[pb_blockquote] Father Christmas was in good spirits – despite his heavy workload – and spent lots of time chatting to the children and passing out the Christmas gifts he had brought with him. [/pb_blockquote]

The Nursery’s Christmas Concert

Although there were some challenges over timings, our Christmas concert was a brilliant success.

[pb_blockquote]The children performed their interpretation of The Night Before Christmas beautifully on stage – and we certainly had some fab ‘far-out’ sugar plum fairies in our midst! [/pb_blockquote]
It was lovely that so many parents were able to join us to celebrate with the children. A special thank you goes out to Henry and Albert’s mummy, Louise, for her super sales skills at our Eco bag and tea-towel stall and also to Paul Warren at Mange Bien for his tasty canapés and delicious mulled wine.
