Hello from The Riverside Day Nursery
Dear Parents,
We hope you’ve been enjoying the fabulous sunshine recently. The children have been making the most of the dry days with plenty of fresh air and outdoor fun.
As well as lots of splashy water play in the nursery garden, we’ve had several outings to the park, where the children have had mini picnics on a little island across from the river. We’ve also spent time watching the local wildlife, especially as March through to July is duckling season. Spotting fluffy ducklings exploring the river with their mums is one of the children’s favourite things to do.
Speaking of special Mums, thank you for joining us to celebrate Mother’s Day in March. It was lovely to meet so many of you, and the children were thrilled to have their special people at nursery for afternoon tea.
In this newsletter you’ll find out more about what we’ve been up to we, including how our eldest children are preparing for starting school in September – yes, we can’t believe it’s that time already either!
Wishing you all very happy summer!
