48-hour Illness Rule

There are a lot of flu and tummy bugs around at the moment. To prevent these from spreading, please can we remind you to keep your child off for 48-hours from the last episode of vomiting or diarrhoea.
If you have any questions about how long to keep your child at home, please call us on 01753 855543.

Antibiotics and other Medications

If your little one is prescribed antibiotics or other medication by the doctor, please ensure it’s in date and has the original labelled prescription for your child (with doses specified) on it.
All medications must be signed in by a member of staff when you arrive at the nursery and administered within the time-frame stated on the packaging.

Private Babysitting and Child Care Arrangements – Policy Reminder

Parents are reminded that any personal babysitting or child care arrangements made directly with staff members that occur outside of the nursery, are the full responsibility of the parents. The Riverside Day Nursery’s insurance and registration does not extend to cover any private arrangement between staff and parents.
