Nursery Team Update

It’s been a busy few months at the Riverside Day Nursery with several new team members joining our team.

We recently welcomed Nina to the Pre-School Room. Nina has a background in working with special educational needs (SEN) children and has grown-up children of her own.

Welcome to Nina (above) who has started in the Pre-school Room.

Elisha is also a new full-time team member working across the different nursery rooms.

We also have a new apprentice, Ella, onboard. Ella trained as a hairdresser but was keen to explore working in childcare and is currently assisting in the Older Baby Room.

Mo, a level 3 qualified childcare practitioner, has joined us a lunch cover assistant working across all the nursery rooms.

We are also delighted to welcome back Abbie. Abbie moved out of the area earlier this year but has since returned and is ably assisting us in the Older Baby Room.

Nursery Team Update

Chloe will be the Baby Room Team Leader from January. Current room leader, Mary,  will be providing support across the nursery.

Welcome to Beckie, a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner with over 14 years’ experience. She is also mum to a seven-year-old. Beckie currently provides support during lunchtimes at the nursery.

Chloe, another level 3 qualified practitioner, has joined our team in the Baby Room. Chloe has three years’ childcare experience. She says the favourite aspects of her role are ‘watching the babies learn to walk’ and getting stuck in with the messy play!

Kelly, also a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner, has been working with pre-school children for two years. She says the best bit about her job is ‘watching the children grow and learn’. Kelly lives nearby on a houseboat – something which the children love hearing about.

Jemma changed areas in August and is now leader of the Toddler Room.

Special Delivery for Cheree!

Many congratulations to Cheree who gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Cruze, on 21^st October. Both Mum and Baby are doing well. We can’t wait for our first cuddle!

New Team Members

Welcome to Donna, who has a little one herself and lots of previous experience working with older children. She has started helping in our older Baby Room.

Kelsea has also started with us part-time. She works across all the areas of the nursery, helping wherever she is needed.

Sammi, has joined our younger babies’ team in the Baby Room. Sammi previously worked with older children within a school setting. Sammi has a son and a passion for working with children.  

Sadly, we have said goodbye to Demi. Demi has flown the Riverside nest to start work in recruitment! We wish her the very best of luck in her new venture.
