Enjoying The Great Outdoors

With blossom unfurling on trees and daffodils popping up here and there, we’ve been getting out and about in nature.

The children have been enjoying trips to the nearby park to feed the ducks (they are officially the best fed waterfowl in Windsor!) and spot other wildlife.

We’ve also spent time outdoors basking in the welcome Spring sunshine. It’s an ideal opportunity to talk about all the things we can see, hear, smell and touch, from the sound of buzzing bees to the texture of soft, silky petals.

In nursery, the children have created impressive Spring artworks of trees showing the changing seasons, and a branch full of chirping baby birds.

Spring has most definitely sprung at the Riverside Day Nursery!
